Spinnaker Global is on the search for a Training Administrator for our client, an international shipmanagement company based in London.
Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring all seafarers onboard UK flagged vessels have the correct documents on board. You will see this process through from applying for the documents to sending the documents to the seafarer.
You will support the Deputy Head of Crew and Training Manager and assist in administering and coordinating the training initiatives across their fleet.
Suitable candidates will have a shipping related degree and must have knowledge of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) for seafarers, as well as MARPOL, SOLAS and MLC.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, although you could come straight from sea after sailing as 3rd Officer or similar.
