Claims Support (Gard), Hong Kong

Permanent positions in Claims Support Hong Kong: 

Spinnaker Global is pleased to be working with Gard to help them fill their new Customer Support Organization in Hong Kong. 

The Claims Support team in Hong Kong will serve all our four Asian offices in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore. Two Claims Support teams are already established in Arendal, Norway, where Gard’s head office is located.

The team will be part of an international environment, working with global customers in a developing industry.

The role as Claims Support will contain many tasks, for example but not limited to; responding to customers queries, handling low complexity claims, carrying out Know Your Client checks, making sure payments are adequately received as well as supporting claims handlers with other administrative tasks.

Skills & experience

• Insurance industry experience, preferably Marine
• Preferable experience of administrative tasks and/or lean processes
• Customer Support experience
• Former experience from Know Your Clients tasks is an advantage
• Data processing, documented experience from Excel
• Quick to learn systems and procedures
• Strong attention to details
• Will have a structed approach to work
• Very good verbal and written ability in English
• Is flexible and service-minded
• Team player and improvement minded
• Ability to write in Japanese is meriting
